Dell Inspiron i17R-1316sLV 17-Inch Vouchers

David :
I bought this computer last week and it is AMAZING! Wicked fast, no slow down with multiple programs running in the background. I'm even able to play a lot of games on the highest setting. Great buy!

William H. Barnard (Cantonment, Florida USA) :
This Dell Inspiron 17" laptop computer has exceeded all my expectations for my requirements of a laptop computer and a work unit. Very well engineered and well built with a nice appearance. Well worth its low, economical price.

JAG "JAG" (Ontario Canada / Niagara Falls):
I give it 5 stars based on ease of use, great screen resolution.
Although I would recommend using a wireless mouse since Windows 8 is really intended for touch screen. Once I installed the mouse it was fabulous experience.

There was not a lot of unwanted software and apps installed. Just the usual you'd expect from the manufacturer plus a few others.
Like the trial version of MCAfee was installed. I'm a Norton Guy and do like to have the choice of virus protection. But with MCAfee installed at first it did assist in getting set up online for registration and updates a lot less worrisome. Once all the updates were done I easily uninstalled MCAfee and installed my Norton.
So far so good.... there you have it ... 5 stars with the mouse I had to purchase. Without the mouse ... it would not be a very pleasant experience with Windows 8 unless it’s a touch screen.

 Barney :
This Dell may not be the top of the line, but for my use (surfing web, personal pictures, music and doucument)it is more than enough. Very fast and efficent.

 Creola wade:
It's a Refurbished laptop for $299, came in the original box in excellent condition. Works perfect, no issues with it so far. It has HDMI output, webcam, wireless and Windows 7, you can easily upgrade to Windows 8 when ready.

Mireily Lewis :
Love the look, features, speed, and price! No complaints about this machine, it's doing a fantastic job. My husband and I use it for school, email, reading, and internet surfing/research. This is one great bargain!!

Dell Inspiron 17 i17RV 17-Inch Vouchers

Mark Lesko (Washington, DC) :
I bought this laptop on 14-June-2013. It works very well, and I'm very happy with it. As for the complaints from others:

1) The volume up and down buttons work just fine... if you understand that you must hold down the blue function key while pressing volume up (F11) and volume down (F12). If you don't press the blue function key, you're just pressing the F11 and F12 keys. Also, you do not need to press the function key in order to activate (and deactivate) the mute button.

2) The fan noise can be fixed in (literally) two minutes by going to the Dell website, and in their search box type "Fans spinning High, Excessive Fan Noise - A06 Bios Update Fix". You will be directed to Dell Article ID: 597270. Scroll down and click on "Insp 3721 - 3721A06" to download the executable file which will update your BIOS from A05 to A06. Run the executable file and presto, fan noise fixed forever.

Doreen :
I'm writing this review from my moms account because she got it for me for graduation! I love this laptop so much, the screen is huge the keyboard is well placed as is the touch pad. The sound quality is great, i love listening to music while i study. at first I was iffy about Windows 8 but now I am extremely impressed with it. The battery life is not super amazing but honestly I can't complain. The texture makes oily fingerprints show up more than I'd like but it is very easy to clean. Everything runs super fast, the screen resolution is nice and the web cam is clear and not too pixlated. I'm super happy with this product and suggest it for anyone going into college or just having it for entertainment :)

Patricia "Say something about yourself!" (UPLAND, CA, US):
I had a problem with the Start up screen not opening, it would act like it was going to open but it just never would. I called dell tech support, they charged me 119.00 to take control of computer with manual assist just to tell me that the hard drive was out. then dell tech support said they would repair hard drive but it would cost me 169.00 additional dollars. thank god for Amazon standing behind their products, what a fantastic company Amazon is, I would feel comfortable buying anything from amazon. disappointed in Dell
a company i have bought many computers from. What happened to customer service being good??? I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER DELL COMPUTER. THIS WAS A BRAND NEW COMPUTER, CHECK YOUR WARRANTEE'S

HP 2000-2b19wm 15.6-Inch Vouchers

Isabella Roland:
Maybe I'm biased because my old laptop was literally falling apart, but I love this laptop. It works quickly and efficiently. It's very organized. I wasn't willing to spend an insane amount on a computer just to surf the web. I have had incredibly good luck with HP products. I would advise anyone looking to purchase a simple laptop to give this one a shot.

Nancy A. Guenther "Dedicated Student" (Florida):
This is a very fast computer and has all the latest versions of software...love it! It was my husbands anniversary present for him to use at meetings. It is self-contained with camera and Windows 8 which I found to be very user friendly.

 Rovert2000 :
A bit mixed about windows 8, but laptop is pretty good. Video performance is decent, occaisionally a bit laggy. Not too bad for the price.

Dell D620 Laptop Duo Vouchers

 M. DiStasio "Hack" (Severn, MD) :
I purchased the D620 for my daughter in college when her 2 yr old HP notebook died due to an overheating problem (long story). After verifying that the D620 worked properly by connecting to the internet and installing XP SP 3, I moved over one of the RAM chips (for a total of 1.5 GB) and the harddrive from the HP. I then installed Windows 7 and recovered her data files (I didn't really expect a college student to use the flash drives that I gave her for backups). Finally, I installed software including Office 7. Throughout the process the D620 performed flawlessly. I tested it by running DVDs, Office apps and videos over the internet (after I set up a wireless connection). This is one fine notebook, very fast and with a good display. Its only "short comings" are obvious from the specs, i.e., no web cam, no media slots and no DVD burner. But these are clearly minor issues given the price.

nan :
I didn't have a lot of money to spend on a computer and all of the chain stores that I had gone into to buy a computer did not have the service or the selection that I wanted. I was hesitant to purchase a computer "on-line" but now I am glad that I did. The computer was exactly what I wanted (Amazon gives you more information up front on what you are purchasing than any other place that I had tried), and I received it within two days. I have not had one problem or complaint. Well done.

Ned "Ned" (Atlanta, GA USA):
I used the same laptop at work for the about the last 3 years, and it is a work horse. I can buy a brand new commercial laptop for couple hundred bucks more, but I wanted the reliability of the professional business laptop. I have to say this used business machine Laptop works well except for 3 problems: First, the battery only lasts 5 minutes, second, the DVD burner drive work sporadically (DVD door doesn't eject consistently, and it doesn't always detect the DVD or CD in it). Handed the laptop to my 11 year old daughter few weeks after purchase (Christmas gift), so I did not find out about these problems until 2 month after purchase. Contacted the seller, but the warrantee had expired after 30 days of purchase, so I have to buy a battery and drive on my own. Third thing, the XP pro operating system was loaded on the computer, but the recovery disks were not included; I hope the hard the hard drive doesn't crash sometime soon.

Dell Inspiron 15 (3521) i15RV-1382BLK 15.6-Inch Vouchers

Nina :
Loud speakers, pretty fast, nice bright colored screen, microsoft office is only a trail and then it uninstalls itself...stupid. nice app store, and xbox game store, not a touch screen but I prefer it that way. I bought mine at staples for $299 plus I bought a 2 year warranty.

 sizzortongue "bb" (dixon, mo):
Great value! My third Dell. Recommend dumping Windows 8 and replacing with 7, 8 is a miserable program and impossible to improve.

Krish:
I was searching around for a budget laptop and this clearly fit my needs. The package arrived on time and the laptop works great! Set up was easy and the handy quick start guide was helpful. This laptop has everything, wireless connectivity, bluetooth, DVD player and writer, USB ports, SD card reader...etc, etc. I uninstalled the McAfee antivirus and installed Sophos Antivirus for which i have a subscription. I also uninstalled the trial MS Office software and installed MS Office Professional Plus 2010, which I have as a licensed copy.
You can remove any of the preloaded apps and put in your own apps.
Windows 8 takes a little bit of getting used to, but other than that it works ok.
I would like to thank the seller for such an excellent product, at a remarkably cheap price of $324.
My recommendation - get it if you want it~!

Dell Latitude D610 14.1-inch 1.73GHz Vouchers

gate1701 :
I want others to know how happy I am with my new laptop. I needed to have wifi computer access for a trip I had to make. I decided a laptop would be the only way and purchased it from Amazon. I have purchased other items from them before and have always been pleased with my purchases. This item was sold through a company named Tampa Laptops in Tampa, Fla. The computer arrived in great condition, however when I shipped it to my travel location it was damaged during that shipment. I contacted Tampa Laptop and they repaired it within 2 days and shipped it back. Zack at Tampa Laptop was great. Due to their service and helpfulness, I would not only purchase from them again but strongly recommend them for any laptop purchase or service.

 CherieB:
This computer was a great buy for our family. We were specifically looking for a smaller computer that we could take on trips to download photos of our travels and transport photos from home to show family and friends. It also allows us to check our e-mails and Facebook on trips.

 M. LOONEY (Corpus Christi, TX USA) :
So far so good. I am very impressed with the performance and speed. I replaced an HP computer bought new 4 years ago, and believe me this is an upgrade from that. I did have to load anti virus, I prefer Trend Micro Internet Security. I use the computer for bill paying, e-mail, and my medical records. I plan on buying a extended service policy from Square Trade. You can't go wrong buying from Tampa-Laptops.

Dell Inspiron 14R i14RMT-7475sLV 14-Inch Vouchers

Eli Wang (Bayside, NY United States):
I like its design, i.e. touch screen, Windows 8, screen size, and above all, the price is right. Only glitch is the screen glare or resolution.

Rosana:
The computer is nice, fast, light, ok. But the windows 8 is confused, i m still trying to learn it!

Michael P. ":
I have had this computer for almost two months and it is working very well, the only think is that sometimes it takes to stopped, but I think so that is for the W8, maybe because I have a virtual account and not a PC account. I recommend this PC for people who need it to study or just review o create documents. I don’t really recommend the PC for people who wants install heavy games programs.
In general the PC work very well and it faster, I love the touch screen, that make use it very easy.

Dell Latitude D630 14.1-Inch Vouchers

Harold K. Hahn (Riverside, Ca. USA):
If you buy one of these refurbished computers be sure to buy the warranty. The one I purchased only lasted 46 days which is 16 days past the 30 day return period. It quit working and it needs new screen ($600.00) and new battery. I didn't notice that you could buy a warranty when I bought it so I just wasted $300.00. Be sure you buy the warranty!

Work Horse :
I,ve been a pc tech for 20 years and my dell d630 is awsome the keyboard is a little worn but got one off of amazon for 18 dollars also i added 4gb of ram. Had to get a new harddrive i had the warranty but the sent me a new one quicly with no fuse or trouble my only regret is paying double from tigerdirect instead of buying from amazon i know next time.

Trapper :
I purchased a refurbished Dell Latitude D630, paying about as much as a low end brand new laptop. My reason for getting a refurbished computer is because I wanted to continue to use Windows XP and this was a way to get a "new" computer that still used XP. I also wanted to still be able to use my old programs and hardware that are still compatible with XP. I refuse to use Vista, and Windows 7 is marginal but I don't like it and it's not compatible with a few of my programs. Out of the box it worked perfectly. Unfortunately it only worked perfectly for about a month. Now I can see why it was sent back to Dell. It will randomly crash and shut down, and now that I have owned it for several months, it's too late to return it to Amazon. Don't bother with a refurbished computer. Just go get a new one with a full warranty. If it's been refurbished, there's a reason that someone else sent it back.

iPearl mCover Hard Shell Case for 15.6" Dell Inspiron 15z Model 5523 Vouchers

Tina :) :
I just got this today and immediately put it on my laptop. It was very easy- only took about twenty seconds to put it on and it looks great- even better than it looked in the online pictures. After going back and forth trying to decide between the color choices, I went with the aqua and it is very pretty, so I'm happy. The one nagging concern is that I'm wondering how to clean this thing. I don't want to mess it up, but I will need to clean it from time to time... in general, though, it looks good, and it will protect my laptop from scratches, so this is worth the twenty bucks.

 Kaila (Fredericksburg, VA, US):
Well it fits, I just wish that the hooks that hold it onto the lid of the laptop were a little more sturdy. It hasn't fallen off or broken but it looks a little fragile.

Gabrielle Sayers:
inexpensive plastic cover works fine. Make break or become brittle in the future but great for the price. Very happy with this

Dell Inspiron i14z-1000sLV 14-Inch Vouchers

David Spencer:
Some of the other reviewers here have had issues with Dell products in the past, as have I from time to time; however, you can't deny you are getting decent hardware for the money. If I were you I'd ignore some of these other reviews which clearly have not actually tried this exact Inspiron model as it was first released in October of 2012 and they are talking like they've had it for a year and a half! I've owned Inspirons in the past and plan on them lasting me 3-4 years. That's exactly what you should expect out of any inexpensive laptop. I bought this particular model because I wanted the new Ivy Bridge processor and SSD included with this model. So far, it works great!

Joy Collura (Spring Hill, FL United States):
Purchased this for my husband for christmas! He loves it except has to get used to using WIndows 8 !

Jeff (Baltimore, MD):
Pros: Hybrid drive is well optimized.
The lower end processor actually saves quite a bit of power. Computer lasts 6 hours without a charge.
Quality frame
This is a great computer between home/work

Cons: Most issues with this computer is Win8. Just remove that puppy and put win7 on it. If you prefer to use Win8, I suggest downloading Pokki. It will alleviate the tears at night that you will have from the new start menu.

Dell Inspiron 17R 17.3" (900P) Vouchers

Amanda Schmid :
I bought this for my husband for his birthday, a little worried about how he would like the specs on it. HE LOVES IT! The only problem he has with it is windows 8, it's going to take awhile to figure a fraction of everything out, but from what I've heard from friends who have windows 8 that its a tough operating program to understand.

 Larissa Craig (Vancouver, WA):
I've had my new baby for just a few days now, but I absolutely ADORE her!!! She seems to have everything I need in a laptop. Windows 8 is a little quirky at first, but I'm learning my way around it and I'm confident that I'm going to like it better than 7. She is quick to power on and off and downloading the programs I need to run my jewelry business (http://www.etsy.com/shop/OracleMoonJewelry). I am so blissfully happy with this sexy candy-apple red laptop!!! She's my first Dell, and I have a feeling I made a wise decision!

H. Reeder "Tarzan" (Utah) :
New OS not that friendly. Nice screen. Pretty fast. Very nice look and feel. A bit heavy to pack around. But the big screen makes up for it.

Dell Inspiron 15 i15RV-9762BLK 15.6-Inch Vouchers

 QQ "QQ":
The camera has good resolution and a good processing speed and the volume is much better than my previous laptop by a different mfg. Also, it's much lighter than I expected.

It took me some time to get used to Win 8. I found a good book for Windows 8: Windows 8 Made Easy on Amazon.com.

I would say it's a really good computer at its price point.

Robb "Owned by Dogs" (Phoenix AZ) :
This is just a great notebook...lots of storage, fast, reliable. Not as wild about Windows 8, but that has nothing to do with Dell. I really have no complaints at all about this notebook.

Wayne Bradford :
love this machine, nice big screen and easy to use keyboard and mouse pad good port access. luv it buy it

Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher - Dell Latitude E6400 Vouchers

cementmason :
I wanted a cheap computer for the uncomplicated tasks which I need a computer for. I had an ASUS which was junk and a HP that I loved but cost almost 800$ by the time I was done buying it. This one cost 257$ and works like a dream. The keyboard feels like a real keyboard. It is guaranteed for 1 year and at that cost I don't care if I throw it away. It is very fast and never freezes like my ASUS junk pile did. I can't foresee ever buying another new computer when I can get one that fits my needs as well as this one does, at this price. This one has windows 7 that I required, but they sell them with many different os in them to fit your needs.

Carolyn F.:
We ordered this having full expectation that we got a great deal for our daughter's college needed laptop. We were very disappointed in the product. The disk drive wouldn't work, and it came with a virus that required the disk drive to work to get rid of it. It was a hassle to have to pack it up, send it back and start back at square 1

John Gipson:
the three star rating was mostly due to the fact that the V on the key board needs excessive force to implement and with uncle author in my fingers well writing my noel ( SEE NO V IN NOVEL) BECOMES A TASK

Alana:
First, I received my laptop in 3 days from the time of purchase. It was exactly as described. It was in perfect condition. It runs great and looks great. I am a mom going back to school and was thrilled to find this laptop for this price.

Josh Macinnis:
I'm a pc and this pc definetley can make dell proud. Definetley great for any use may it be household use or on the go. Thanks for a great pc!

Mae:
I know old and used laptops will hardly get a good battery in them. I still complained though about mine and was impressed by how well they addressed my concern. I like this merchant. No wonder they got high ratings from a huge number of customers.

Dell Inspiron i15N-3091BK 15-Inch Vouchers

Stacey:
I just received this today so I may post a follow up review later.

My first impression was that it was huge. It's thicker and heavier than I expected but for the price point it's to be expected. I don't plan to travel too often with it so it's not a huge concern to me. Setup with windows 8 is unbelievably simple and makes it quick to get up and running. I'm not a fan of the new Metro start screen. I tried to customize it but it still just took up way too much space for my liking. So I ended up downloading a free app, called classic shell that brought back the start menu functionality for me. I think the laptop (which is what we are actually reviewing here - not windows 8) is quite peppy and the specs are more than adequate for any average user. If you primarily use your computer for homework, email, web surfing, etc this will be great. If you're a heavy gamer you probably want something else.

KMC :
I bought a Dell Inspiron in 2004 and loved it. It did its job for years and after 8 years, decided to buy a new laptop. Everybody told me Toshiba was the computer to have. Well, I listened and it crashed immediately. Since then it has crashed 2 more times and I finally junked it. I said the heck with it and bought this one. Absolutely no problems whatsoever and I love it. It's a great laptop and you can't beat the price. Maybe it's just bad luck with Toshiba and good luck with Dell, but I'm sticking with Dell. I'm not a computer geek and don't understand much about computers. I just know Dell has been good to me for the last 9 years.

Miguel :
I am using this new laptop every day and is really amazing, they new operative system windows 8 create the perfect enviroment to work without any problem

Dell Inspiron 15R i15RM-4634SLV 15.6-Inch Vouchers

nat13:
I needed this for a business trip and it arrived 4 days before I was scheduled to leave. Upon opening the laptop I noticed it had a pixel that was bright white on the screen. I called Amazon and they amazingly sent me a new laptop 2 days later just in time for my trip!! GREAT customer service Amazon, thank you! The Dell laptop is awesome as well! I've never had a problem with Dell, I call them die hards! always works no matter what! Love love love my new Dell!

Dexter "Old Coot" (Fresno, Ca United States):
I am completely satisfied with this laptop. Everything was up and running, updates installed automatically, and without a hiccup. The jury is still out on Windows 8 so far, but the computer itself is a winner. I made a good choice in picking this one.

Shaliesh Dhuri :
A product that a busy executive can rely on! Although it is not exactly light weight, it is manageable to carry around.

Dell Inspiron i15N-3910BK 15-Inch Vouchers

 Fred Scherlinder Dobb (Washington, DC):
This is my husband's account, so though his name is attached to it, he isn't writing this. Amazon is advertizing the well-reviewed and rated 3910 even though they KNOW (and apparently have known for some time) that Dell doesn't make it anymore and is giving them 3520s in 3910 boxes. The 3520s are among the very WORST rated/reviewed laptops. DO NOT BUY THIS unless you want an inferior product, or want to be cajoled by Amazon into getting a replacement, only to get the SAME incorrect machine. There are customers who have received the 3520 3 or 4 times while trying to get a 3910; they clearly were never told that there simply ARE NO 3910s. The customer rep is trained to point out that the ad for the 3910 says that the 3920 is the genericc for this kind of Inspiron, as if the fault is potentially the consumers for not reading closely enough. As I pointed out, this does NOT say, so expect to receive the 3520; it could mean that I should feel free to buy replacement parts that are 3520. DO NOT BUY THIS. They promised on my last go-round with them to TAKE THIS DESCRIPTION DOWN, since it is fraudulent. Let's see how that goes...

 Sophia Quintero :
Once I received my product I realized that it has different specs as prompted on amazon product description. Then I realized that I got a DELL 3520 instead of a DELL 3910 as I ordered. The DELL 3520 has the same processor and physical memory than DELL 3910 but it doesn't have either a USB 3.0 port nor keyboard backlight (there must be others no adverted differences). I strongly recommend not to buy this item until Amazon fix this problem.

herbert griggs:
I have yet to receive the computer as decribed above (3910). Instead what I have been receiving is model (3520) in a 3910 box. This has happened to 4 times since first ordering Feb. 9th. Each time I was told that the problem had been corrected. Finally, I was issued a refund and told to reorder because the product was back on the website which meant that the problem with packaging had been resolved. I reordered March 9th (3910) and received on March 15th a (3520) in a (3910) box, and for the 4th time on March 16th I have returned item. This is a HUGE problem with customer satisfaction. I was told I on March 16th I would be contacted later....I'm still waiting.

Dell Inspiron 15 i15RV-6145BLK 15.6-Inch Vouchers

BadgerBlue:
I have been through numerous Dell laptops, but the shell is a big improvement over the cheap bulky ones of recent past. It's only 1 inch thick. Still plastic, but much sleeker. Inside the core i3 and 6gb of memory are enough for every day tasks (isn't that what 99% of consumers do)? I was hesitant about Windows 8 but it's not as bad as they say. You can still use the traditional desktop view where 90% of the time it feels just like Win 7. Yes it takes a bit to get used to, but after a few uses you will be fine. For an everyday budget laptop that can easily meet the demands of all but the super power users (i.e. gamers or graphic artists), this is a GREAT system. Don't wast time on the cheaper ones with the lesser processors if you can get this for $400. Oh yeah last point - the track pad is much better. It feels your finger tap to click and scrolling motions. Not a cheap imitation, this one really works flawlessly.

SURENDER:
I got this 6GB RAM/i3 laptop for $399 !!it works good. Windows 8 sucks! I wish i could get the same product with Windows 7.

 Iranga Mendis :
the laptop simply works fine. No regrets as such at all. Its a great lap top for the money paid

Dell Inspiron 17 i17RM-2742sLV 17.3-Inch Vouchers

 Matias :
The computer arrived in good conditions. It is very fast.
The only problem that I have is the noise of the cooler fan, but I download from the webpage of Dell an update for the Bios and now it is fixed and works fine.
Thank you.

Jonathan Dicken:
Laptop out of the box was great, I purchased it on sale for 699! However after a month of owning the laptop starting randomly losing power and turning off. Contacted tiger direct and since I had owned it for 35 days instead of under 30 they would not replace it, instead giving me a refund which I suppose is better than naught. I'm unsure if my issue was a defect specific to my computer or to the series itself.

George Washington "redwood" (Cherry Tree Junction, UTAH):
The wide open always-on fan is the result of an old outdated bios. Dell will remotely install bios version 7 or higher that will fix the problem. Win 8 requires a learning curve, but it can be annoying out of the box. The sound is excellent and the speed decent. I actually found Dell support refreshingly helpful and efficient. The battery mode is more than adequate (approximately 5 hrs)

Cons: If you need a backlit keyboard, blu-ray reader/writer, or SS drive you would have to pay twice as much. I am experiencing a constant noise from the hard drive area, even when the hard drive seems to be resting. That and a slight electrical buzz on the outside chassis has prompted me to send it to Dell service department at no cost. Fingers crossed.

Dell Inspiron 15R i15RM-5098sLV 15.6-Inch Vouchers

Kyle L Lindstrom:
After going through all the specs on various computers this is the one I decided on. I searched Best Buy, Tiger Direct, etc.. and Amazon had the same exact computer for $50 less and I also have Amazon Prime so it was a win, win. I like how light the computer is, in the past I have travelled with a laptop and the weight was a big issue. I was trying to avoid buying a Windows 8 system but then I found the app called START 8 so I decided to try Windows 8. Start 8 makes your desktop identical to the old Windows 7 so I didn't waste any time going to Windows 8. System is fast, starts up very quick and screen is very clear. Keyboard is nice and responsive. I don't rarely use the touch pad so I can't rate how I like it. I also like the battery connection to the laptop. My old Toshiba had a loose connection right from the start and didn't like it. The battery life is also pretty good. If there is one thing I could change it would be a longer power cord, it could use an extra 2 ft. I would recommend this computer to others.

This laptop is purchased for my college. So far so GOOD! I love the product and it's solid. The Windows 8 is very different than Windows 7. I am beginning to catch on to all the differences, and some of them appear to be practical. The laptop itself is quick. My only suggestion is to learn to use your computer before you decide to not like it. Once you get use to it, then decide if you don't like it.

Diane Johnson (NEWARK, DE, US) :
So far, I like this computer. It's my first laptop and it's super fast. I used and loved Microsoft Word for years, so Windows 8 is a challenge. However, the Windows 8 tutorial is helpful. Each use yields something new to learn.

Hope this continues to be my story.

Dell Inspiron 14z i14z-2100sLV 14.0-Inch Ultrabook Vouchers

Diane Beck (Espanola, NM United States):
I really like this computer. I was a little hesitant about getting a Windows 8 machine, but found it very easy to learn to use. Once I got the hang of it I found it very fast and responsive, easy to move between different applications. The display is very bright and crisp and the speakers are a big improvement over my older Dell laptops. Since my last laptop was 5+ years old, I'm enjoying this light, fast little Dell.

Run and run very fast from this computer and any Dell product. Their customer service must be the worst in the business as I type this I have been listening to crappy dell music for over thirty minutes. Brand new computer for my son and it has already frozen up and doesn't work. Will never buy another dell product no wonder they are in such crappy shape

 Alex :
Notebook starts fast, is lightweight and met all my needs.

It is for sure not a gamer notebook, but for someone looking a fast terminal for using the web, emails, powerpoint and excel, it is just the right thing. Go for it, price is a bargain.

Regarding the battery, it is not the best thing in the market, but for price paid is more then enough.

Only con is Win8 that is quite cumbersome. Waiting for the 8.1 to go out.

Dell Inspiron i14RM-7500sLV 14-Inch Touch Screen Vouchers

 jed "Jed" (Virginia, USA):
Have had this for a month now, added a lot of apps and configuration for student going to college this fall. At first I wasn't sure how Windows 8 and the touch screen were going to work out, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Touchscreen really is much quicker and easier than the touch-pad and mouse! And the touchscreen OS is very well done, a useful interface for today's way or working.

The USB 3.0 docking station (ASUS USB 3.0 Universal Laptop Docking Station) works perfectly with Dell 24" monitor, keyboard and mouse, extending the screens to the 2nd monitor works very well.

Added Classic Shell Windows 8 Start Menu for desktop view (Windows 8 doesn't have a start menu, sorry, still old school, can't live without the start menu!!!), and this worked fantastically.

Extremely pleased with this laptop and its performance. I really wanted to hate the touchscreen and windows 8, but the more I use it, the more I like it!

Got it on sale, to boot.

This computer brings very good and realiable experience. HAve tested for 3 days and everything works very good, the only thing i would have a negative comments will be the brightness of the screen, but i understand that if it is touchscreen you have to put more thick cover to the screen to support this new functionality.

I've had this laptop for 5 days. It's a decent machine but it seems something is wonky with the wireless connectivity. It's dropped signal twice already, and would not reconnect without restarting. Not good. And it's not the wireless connection itself because 2nd laptop, cell phone, and nook stayed connected to wifi throughout. The keyboard isn't backlit, which I didn't think would be a dealbreaker but is turning out to be way more inconvenient than I anticipated. The keys are spaced farther apart than I'm used to, coming from a Lenovo Thinkpad, but it seems most of the new laptops have this weird spacing. If it continues to drop wifi connection it's definitely going back.

Dell Latitude D630 14.1-Inch Notebook PC Vouchers

I got this laptop in a timely manner and it appears to be in excellent shape. However, when I had problems and called Dell tech support, they told me that the laptop owner had not transferred the laptop to me. Thus, I am unable to get help! I have contacted the seller requesting assistance with this, but have not heard back. When buying a laptop, be sure you get the ownership transferred to you.

V :
I bought two of these. The first one was in excellent condition, really impressive for a "refurb". So when hubby murdered his laptop by spilling a drink into it, I thought this D630 would be the perfect replacement for him. When it arrived, we were both a bit disappointed. It functions correctly but has a loose lid/screen that can wobble and some sticking keys and generally looks quite used. He's satisfied enough to keep it, partly because he doesn't want to be without one for any length of time, and partly because we've had positive experiences with off-lease Dells in the past even if they have a wart or two.

My personal disappointment was that after receiving the first one, I expected the same level of quality from the second one because at that time, it was sold by Amazon -- not a marketplace refurb seller where you can never be sure of what you'll get until you open the box.

Harold K. Hahn (Riverside, Ca. USA) :
If you buy one of these refurbished computers be sure to buy the warranty. The one I purchased only lasted 46 days which is 16 days past the 30 day return period. It quit working and it needs new screen ($600.00) and new battery. I didn't notice that you could buy a warranty when I bought it so I just wasted $300.00. Be sure you buy the warranty!
